It isn't stupid stuff, it's neat stuff. It's just off-topic ...

I guess it depends if you think motorcycles are for riding or if you think they should look visually neat as objects.

As someone who thinks they are for going around (and between) corners the bikes shown are a better fit in the STUPID STUFF thread.

The exception is the naked streamliner which wouldn't know what to do with a corner if it found one - it has a different purpose!

I competed on motorcycles for 20+ years in Observed Trials and the occasional road course. I still love to see a bike done with some imagination, though I DO lean toward a Montesa 300 RR these days. If everything you don't like is stupid, then yeah, there's a LOT of stupid stuff in the world. Won't argue that one.

It's impossible not to get faschinated by the abilities of the trial 'climbers'!
Recently i came past a clip where the driver had to abandon a high jump and simply jumped backwards(!) to the ground under full control and kept balance for the second, and successfull, try :-o

Likely was Toni Bou of France. He is 17-time world Observed Trials champion. Go Google "Best of Toni Bou," especially city and stadium trials, and prepare to be amazed.

It IS off-topic ... but maybe ONE clip:

OK, no more. It's hard for me to decide which has been more fun, flying or observed trials. I'm leaning toward trials since I competed for 20 years and only flew for about half that time. Now I'm working on the planes more and flying a lot less.

Stringbean,

My antivirus software won't let me go to your Russian links a couple of pages back.

Just information, not a complaint.
