Back cover- It has a list of the names of the volunteers at the time, many of whom I remember, a few I worked with in later years at Chino, and many who are gone now.

Regarding page 6:
How connects Convair to the L-5 wich is one of Mine favourites but known to me as a Stinson design?

Regarding page 6:

 I saw that too...I believe it simply was a mistake. I don't know of any connection between the L-5 and Convair :)

 

Regarding page 11:
What have happened with this Skyshark?

"Actually the real Skyshark the Museum owned was not so far removed from the cartoon. It was only about half there- it was the basic airframe, wings and tail and landing gear. No engines, and the nose and intake section were mocked up with plywood and metal fastened with pop-rivets.

Shortly before I left the Museum Ed Maloney sold it to John Muszala, a friend of mine who was a mechanic at Aero Sport. He had fond dreams of restoring it. I have no idea what has become of it since then."
