Through occational airshows have the F-16 moved into the heart of Mrs. Armand, who

generally cannot understand how a machine like an airplane can be percieved as beautifull. The only other exception is the Concorde.

A late night I came past a TV programme about a German Museum-owner buying one of the decommisioned Concordes and the troubles getting it moved to the museum in south-west germany.

The internet revealed that the plane had been in situ for long time, and an idea took form - Ending with driving the 800 km to Sinnsheim in the easter of 2009.

The museum is impressing. Filled with all kind of vehicles: Motorcycles (to my additional joy), cars (including formula-1 cars), Tanks and many planes (of wich the Concorde is the masterpiece and exhibited outdoor in an angle making it possible to spot it 10km's or more away on the Autobahn.

RT have spotted the one in front here as a Vickers Viscount! Essentially they're both four engined British airliners ;-)

Isn't this a ridiculluos control-stick for a supersonic peoplemower?

The measurements of the Mrs' fits aparently fine into the narrow cabin (seats consealed to last) ;.)

The multiple carbon disc brakes (with the same function as multiple-disc clutch's on motorbikes) of the Concorde!

Exterior aircrafts of the museum!
POW is atop of the helix staircase at the back of the Concorde.
I reckognize The British Canberra jet-bomber; The DC-3 and the Junkers JU-52 - RT have reckognized the one in front as an Ilyushin Il-14!
Remark: The DC-3 is partly converted into a slide for the youngsters by the tube leading out from the lower part of the cockpit and passing through the rooftop of a building :-o

As the Fiat G-91 is the first fighter (actually a bomber!) of the newly formed Luftwaffe in '56, the Germans is quite keen about it!

A D.H. Venom suspended as a demonstration of the force in 'pneumatic muscles' -> The quadruple tubes to see at the right, wich shortens up when inflated with high pressure pneumatic.
At a press on a button flight-sound appeared and the Venom tilted and pitched for a while.

Have a look across a part of the car-exhibition.

The space under the ceiling is practically used for suspended aircrafts.

Suspended above the military exihibition: The 'Butcher Bird'; the Starfighter and the undoubtly corrogated tail of the Junkers JU-52.
I've earlier said that the Germans are serious about the ban of the swastika. Its obvious that I have to take my own words when it comes to exhibition-purposes!

Another POW: The JU-57 from front. in the background the FW-190 and F-104 mentioned above
and I think its the wing of a Junkers JU-88 on the ground together with lots of tanks 'n stuff!

A suspended glider in the background.
But it's the orange thing on the ground that makes my pants wet :-). (Remark the amount of red Italian sportscars around it!)
