OK, Let's get this thread back on target like its suppose to be.

A proper mobile surface to air missile needs a good solid base from which

to be launched. That's right folks, it ain't gonna happen from a two wheeled

vehicle. Speed is life, so mobile it is:

The pointy end can be turned around to point in the other direction so back blast. :D

Quite trumphed by the previous posted Danish Nimbus w. 20mm Madsen IMO.

Here an early experiment with armoured motorcycle by the Danish Army:

Does anyone have any idea what the recoil would have been like from this cannon? A 20 mm would normally have been mounted on something a lot heavier and more stable.

I support that!
The mount of the 20mm Madsen in post #34 looks way more ridgid in comparison!

Wow, I thought that I was the only one getting older here. Earlier this year I bought one of those camouflage "Australian" caps with the rim that is 360 degrees around to keep the sun off my face and neck. Not much I can do about the white-spotted skin of my arms though. :) :P]

I consider it more caused by 'the basic programming' than age alone :-/

I've recently attended the first Cousins gathering on My fathers side in about 50 years, a fabolous experience at the to be first warm day in the spring.
However I have seemingly not been together with My oldest brother in light clothings as on this day, hence it gave Me possibility to discover that He is badly hit by the pigment trouble too! Nice to get My idea of the 'basc prgramming' confirmed.
