Very nice, right everyone.? We now need everyone to go take a little vacation to your favorite military museum and share the pictures (with you in them) with the rest of us.

Once again, very nice Paolo, thank you. Jeff

Cheers - I do indeed like taking pictures although I did not have enough time as I wanted lately to practice! Please do share your own pictures from your local museums and airshows, unfortunately we cannot be everywhere to see these in person!!

Keith,

Are those models that you have built? Back in the early 1970s I built about 300 WW1 & 2 1/72 scale aircraft models. I sold most of them and lost almost all the rest in a house fire in 1994. My wife started painting pictures again in 2002 so I picked up model building again in 2003. I built about 100 WW2 aircraft model up into 2005 and then gave it up again. Physically it has become a challenge for me to build them any more so I have about 80 - 90 unbuilt WW2 aircraft kits on a shelf in the garage. The only reason I asked is that I am pretty sure I have or have built every single aircraft in that picture. From the Rita to Ki 15 Kamikaze. I even built Mavis and Emily sea planes.

Just an enquiry, Jeff :)

?.............Back in the early 1970s I built about 300 WW1 & 2 1/72 scale aircraft models.

We're on line with this: I basically emptied the Airfix catalogue in the early 70's. Considering I lived at home as a Youngster, the space of my room was under stress ;-)
Turning 15 getting my first moped placed model-kitting in the background and eventually most of them went destroyed (like most of my old Toys). By few occations I've tried starting up again, but with age I've become more demanding to details - without having the patience to fullfill it.
BBC had a programme seria where the grown up presenter drove his youth hobby to the extreme: They builded a Scalectric race circuit along a now condemned classic race circuit; a full size LEGO-house and casted/builded a 1:1 scale Spitfire kit :-o
