Might anyone know if the Breda 65 was developed into any further experimental types or the basis for any further types?

As far as I'm aware it wasn't, the type was a largely unsuccessful attempt to create an all round strike-fighter/Bomber/Recce/Interceptor aircraft and as such it was at best mediocre in it's planned role.
A small number of the Breda Ba.65s were fitted with a dorsal turret and armed with an extra machinegun, but the fundamental problems that the type was difficult to maintain, especially in the desert where the majority were deployed, underpowered, underarmed and carried a largely insignificant bomb load meant that there was little future for the type and I understand the last operational Ba.65 was destroyed in 1941.
Others were fitted with tandem controls for use as trainers, but poor performance and a flawed specification meant that there was little use for the type.
