Hi StrayDog,

A hardy welcome to you. You've come to the right place.

One of our long-time members--GregP--will be especially glad you're here. He is a volunteer at the "Planes of Fame" museum. You two will have a lot in common--as do you and I.

I'm also retired military-- Air National Guard, Regular Army, and Army National Guard (does Civil Air Patrol count?). I wasn't a military pilot, but I did a few other things--parachute rigger, heavy weapons infantry, radio operator-Morse/voice/etc. (I noticed your sign-off), airborne, intel. sgt. (And I still remember my AFSC: 58130.)

I like airplanes too, and when it comes to aviation history, my favorite time is WWII (I hope you like the P-38.) Don't be a stranger. You'll really like it here.

Regards,
Lightning
