Hi RSS Agent,

Sorry to hear that. Just another sign that the Huey is finally fading away. What a fine old bird! Nothing fancy, just good old rugged performance with few problems and lots of reliability.

My SF unit made many day/night, full-equipment training jumps and insertions from Hueys over the years, and there were never any problems and very few aborts. The only thing that kept them from flying was when fuel ran low.

One thing, though; The Huey really could not pick up a Riverine patrol boat as shown in "Apocalyps Now." :D
