Hi Kutscha,

nice clips even if a bit tame for warbirds.

Great to see them in the air ...

MORE! :)

Is it just me or is on one of the shots are the aircraft flying at about 5m height over a field?

Is this more exciting for you Greg? ;)

There are more exciting vids if you look to the right.

The Mossie vid is several years old for this a/c crashed, killing the crew, in the 1990s. This was the last flyable Mossie. A new flyable a/c is being built, http://www.warbirdrestoration.co.nz/mossie_april06.html

Yup Red, they are cutting grass. There is a vid out there of Alain de Cadenet (TV race car commentator) being buzzed by a Spit which is even lower than the one posted above. He had some nice choice words to say about the sneaky Spit. I think he had to change his pants as well.;)

Hi guys....

Just stumbled on this thread and watched the great videos.

The second of the videos posted by Kutscha (B.Mk IV Mossies and Mk IX Spitfires?) is actually computer generated!

A damn fine simulation, wouldn't you say?

Some great scenes of the Molins gun, plus shots of rocket-armed Mossies attacking shipping. It sows just how fearsome - and inaccurate - these weapons were.

Hawker Tempest recognition video. Just listen to the Sabre sing that sweet high revving sound.
