I was just wondering which magazines with the subject aviation or military hardware in general do you buy?I preffer Aeromagazine,it's the best,Top Gun was good, but now i't become quite bad, with fewer pages and not enough detail.Modelism is another one i buy,but it isn't up to standards anymore as well.Other then that there aren't any good magazines specialized on this in my country.:(

I usually read Flying, Kitplanes, Air Forces Monthly, Flypast, Aeroplane, and sometimes a few others if the subjects are of interest to me. Some of the local bookstores only get occasional British and other foreign magazines, so I'm a bit limited in selection simply by what can be found locally.

Hi Oldwarbird,
I really like "Air Classics." They mostly cover WWII, but they also have good articles on airplanes of other eras. Many fine photos also. Other good ones: "Air Progress", and "Warbirds." (Sounds like that one might be just what you're looking for.)
I don't know if they're available in your country.
Regards,
Lightning
Air International, Air Enthusiast, Aeroplane Monthly, Flypast, Model Aircraft Monthly, Scale Aircraft Modeller, Scale Aviation Modelling, Flight (sometimes), Aviation Herald (when I find it anywhere, Russian), Aviatsi i Kosmonavtki (again, when I see it, again Russian), Combat Aircraft, Air Forces Monthly (usually), Aerospace Week (when I see it)... and whatever "foreign" magazines are available when I'm abroad...
I need more shelf space:D (and more floor space to put the shelves).
