Hi Dogwalker,

Great photos!

One question: Did the guy who did that damage to the F-86's air intake have to repair it? Or did it come out of his pay? :D

By the way, is he RAF or Italian Air Force? The jacket, pants, and stripes look RAF, but I'm not sure about the cap. Just curious.

He's Cpt. Bill Hay, Canadian officer of the 430th Squadron RCAF. located in France in 1954.:D
The wings of the "decoy" were solid plywood while the fuselage was rubber - filled with air. The dummy would have to be re-inflated from time to time as the tail and nose sections would be touching the ground due to leaks
