Where can I see a Halifax of WW2 in europe, the only thing I´ve ever seen was a seperated cockpit of a Halifax in the IWM in London. So are there any survivng Halifaxs in England or somewhere else, my second question is, if you know a good book, which deals with the Halifax and her part of war ?
Regards,
Che

I have visited the York RAF museum in 1998, the Halifax standing there as star No.1 while work on it was not yet complete. There were many other interesting planes in this museum, worth a visit indeed...:)

I have been there a few times with my grandparents (who live in York) - it (and the City of York itself) are well worth a visit.

There's a good bookshop in The Shambles that has loads of aviation books. Given the right amount of money I could happily spend a day in there:D
