Heinkel He-178 Berlin Museum Display

Was the Heinkel He-178 actually put on display in the Berlin Museum and what was the date for that event and when was its existence first made public?

In the Airforce museum in Berlin Gatow, there's a 1/72 model,
showing what the "Luftfahrtmuseum Berlin looked" like, I think
in 1940, with all its exhibits. And there's the He 178, too.
Of course, that's not a hard evidence, but to me the question
is : Why should it not have been shown to the public ? The He 178
made about 12 flights in 1939, but without gaining any real interest
by the officials. The principle of the jet engine wasn't new, in
Italy the Caproni CC.2 was flying and, as it was regarded as a type
without real worth, it was quite logical, I think, to "dump" it
into the museum ..
